NASAM
NASAM is an international distributor of high-reliability electronic components for satellites and spacecraft, defense related systems, aircraft parts and life support equipment.
NASAM is located in South San Francisco, California.
NASAM History
- 1980: Company founded as NAS America as joint venture.
- 1983: Became a subsidiary of Banner Industries and changed its name to NASAM.
- 1983: Shipped the first military classified products to Japan via commercial
channel.
- 1987: Shipped the first spacecraft components to Japan.
- 1988: Founded DoD/DIS approved classified freight forwarder/transport company named "GCCUS"--' Link to GCCUS web site.
- 1997: Started NASAM's Non-Profit Program(NNPP)
- Supported PKO seminars in Japan - Supported "Challenge Against Great Earthquake Disaster '97" in Japan
- 2001: Received IS0 9002:1994 certification
- 2003: Successfully updated to ISO 9001:2000
- 2008: Received AS9120 certification
- 2009: Acquired by Greenwich AeroGroup, Inc. as a subsidiary of Banner Aerospace, Inc.
